Founder of Mojo Roux band believes in excellence and picked the best musicians to work with in the southeast. J.R. was mentored by the late great blues legend, Albert King. His love for soul, rhythm, and blues has been a life-long pursuit.

He has toured most of his life with well known artists such as Charlie Daniels, Greg Allman, The Doobie Brothers, and Little River Band. His unique style of vocals is recognized by everyone he has touched with his stage presence and sultry voice. He won independent CD of the year with his album, "Been to the River."

Together his band is truly one of the best in their original compositions as well as covers.
